¡Hola! from Puerto Rico

After a grueling day of travel (18 hours but who's counting) we are nestled into our fabulous home away from home.

An area rich in history and centrally located, Toa Baja will be the perfect base from where to launch explorations of this Island.
Today, was spent mainly just getting here. Lunch at Harry's Tacos, a brief peruse of Costco and a little sightseeing was about all we had the energy to accomplish.
Oh my, I loved this unique library- La Biblioteca Juana Barroso Martínez. Named for a local girl done good, Juana became the only Puerto Rican, at that time, to have achieved education degrees of such distinction.

And we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to spend five nights- Sunny Apt. Steps from the Beach.
Elizabeth's attention to detail and decorative style are like no other. We really do feel at home.

"The bed is calling and I must go!" More tomorrow after we've gotten some much needed sleep.

Is that water tower directly over the library? Are you staying in an airbnb? Great to be able to follow you on your journey--safe travels.
