After our hike, we found ourselves in the spectacular St. Theresa's Church for my very first TOCCATA performance.

This talented group of orchestra and community choral artists was founded in 2005 by James and Nancy Rawie as a 501(c)(3) non-profit musical arts organization based at Lake Tahoe. Its mission is to raise awareness and appreciation of classical orchestral and choral music by bringing quality affordable performances to the greater Reno-Tahoe Area, and to provide a venue for accomplished musicians to display and develop their talents. 

Today's amazing program, Brrroque Masters, had a special dedication to Phil Stevenson, a founding member of TOCCATA, who passed away recently. Friends of Mr. Stevenson funded the event so admission was by donation. What a wonderful tribute to a man loved by many.
