Angora Ridge Hike...
Bob and Jenny have begun the birding competition called The Tahoe Big Year, so today we joined them in their search for more species (which is always a blast).
While their focus was looking up mine seemed to be gazing downward. What beauty was found along our path.
Note the lack of snow! Such a different January from last year.
Two new species were added to their list and a whole lot of fun was had by us all. It is always good to be out and about in Tahoe. Oh, and the legs below belong to our friend, Jason. I thought they were so iconic for local hiking, I had to share.

make sure a few of them are dirt.”
