The Alabama Hills for an Overnight...

For Mother's Day, Steve took me camping at our new favorite spot- the Alabama Hills.

We found this amazing space on our last trip from Southern California. Now that Spring has sprung, we made even more discoveries that delighted us.

I mean, how cool is this campsite?

I was like a kid in a candy store with all the flowers in bloom. We could not step anywhere without stepping on a burst of color.

Most of the flowers were tiny. These white ones were maybe 1/16th of an inch. They were incredible. It was like a scavenger hunt discovering them.

And when we awoke today, this was our view. Can you see why we love it here so?
