"You Can't Take It With You"- A Play

South Tahoe High School's Drama Department has a reputation of putting on some pretty amazing theater productions. So today, we went to the final performance of You Can't Take It With You.

This play, written in 1938, seemed rather current and poignant.
The main message can be summed up by Grandpa Martin Vanderhoff, "Maybe if you stop trying to be so desperate about making more money than you can ever use. You can't take it with you, Mr. Kirby. So what good is it? As near as I can see, the only thing you can take with you is the love of your friends."
It was an incredible set, fine acting and dialog that made all of us a tad bit teary in the end.
The day concluded at Chris and Jan's for an amazing dinner, some dice playing and much fun.
