South Lake Tahoe is the only place I know of that hosts a fireworks extravaganza on Labor Day.  Lights on the Lake was truly spectacular.

Since the show featured simultaneous music broadcasted by KRLT-FM 93.9, we hung out with our favorite radio personality, Howie Nave, while awaiting the show.

Arriving early afforded us this spectacular pre-show.

Jenny and Bob joined us at the beach.  Jenny wrote after receiving my pictures, "Awesome photos!  Some really great shots freezing them.  Perfect night.  I'm in awe still at what a great show it was.  Thanks for being our beacon, guiding us in."

There were some very interesting pyrotechnic explosions.
