When Bob & Jenny invited us over for lawn games, we had no idea what that meant.

Blowing bubbles is a very important part of a celebration, to me! |

Ladder toss is a lawn game played by throwing bolas (two balls connected by a string) onto a ladder. The
items needed to play are two ladders and a set of three bolas per team.
Each ladder has three rungs, each rung scoring a different point value.
Being
a relatively new and grassroots game, it goes by many names and has a
diverse array of tales for how each was created. Some of these names
are: Läderbölen, Balls Awesome, Ladder Ball, Hillbilly Golf, Dog Balls,
Lasso Golf, Dangle Ball, sling nuts, and many others. There is also a
patented version of the game called Ladder Golf. Bob and Jenny called it
Lawn Golf... a respectable name for an addictive game. |

While Lawn Golf was new to us, we delighted in old school Bean Bag Toss. |

Lunch was anything but traditional, yet it was delicious. Dining on the deck, overlooking the Lake, just screamed "Perfect End of Summer Shindig". |
