Living life in Tahoe...
Good morning from our first day in South Lake Tahoe.  We awoke to see the sun rise followed by a light dusting of morning snowflakes.  A perfect greeting.

We slept wonderfully and anticipate a day of unpacking and discovery.  Most of our things have been in storage for two years...so it's like Christmas morning here.

We received this sweet comment on our blog from the sellers of our cabin, "Congratulations and best wishes in your new home. As the prior owners we have had many happy memories there. Tahoe is a wonderful place and we know you will enjoy living there."
Our realtor, Joel, came by to see how we were doing.  We are continuously delighted by the kindness of all the Tahoeans we have met.  When you're ready to move here, let me know so I'll introduce you to our incredible realtor.
I'm pretty certain, my fashion "style" is going to seriously change here.  Next Sunday, the high will be 32° with a low of 11°.  At that point, you can only look so good when you're dressed to not freeze!
“I love snow for the same reason I love Christmas: It brings people together while time stands still. Cozy couples lazily meandered the streets and children trudged sleds and chased snowballs. No one seemed to be in a rush to experience anything other than the glory of the day, with each other, whenever and however it happened”- Rachel Cohn

What a fun way to wake up...to freshly fallen snow on your new backyard!
It does look cold, but hopefully your cute hat is keeping you warm. :)
I love the comment about the prior owners having happy memories there. The cabin exudes good vibes. :)
