Grand Tetons... so very grand!

We began our Thursday with a drive through Grand Teton National Park... a park that protects stunning mountain scenery and a diverse array of wildlife. The central feature of the park is the Teton Range — an active, fault-block, 40-mile-long mountain front. The range includes eight peaks over 12,000 feet, including the Grand Teton at 13,770 feet.  It was a day of ooohing and aaaahing.  I love Wyoming!

Hi all of you ! Loved your pictures today (and yesterday, too, for that matter) I recognized where each one was taken. Gorgeous mountains, and amazingly they still are snow covered ! Beautiful country up there. Fun place to be.
Looking forward to seeing you soon....you're getting closer....
Love, Mom
