A hot summer night calls for music on the lakeshore with friends.

The band was an excellent introduction for our summer of musical fun. "Ideateam is a 10-piece ensemble driven to fuse influences together in a fresh way. Loaded with two guitars, bass, drums, percussion, brass section, and soulful vocals, the group explores the corridors of groove while flipping through styles like a deck of cards, flowing in and around various genres and noticeably leaning on the funk. They bring sounds old and new, blended with a drop or two of extraterrestrial soundscapes - presented by a group of people who simply love to play music."

In addition to grooving to music, there is some spectacular people watching to do as well. This mouse was absurd. It was at least 90° and we were cooking in skirts and shorts. Crazy.
The pièce de résistance of the craziness was a group of twenty-somethings basting themselves with baby oil. I felt like I was back in the 80s. In this day and age... wow.

Steve and I were in our "happy place". Summer feels like it is here... finally!
