Erline on Howie's Morning Rush KRLT...
There is nothing that makes one feel more special than being interviewed by our local, amazing radio host, Howie Nave.
For 15 minutes, Howie delighted us all and helped us get the word out about the presentation tonight.
And this was Howie's follow up comment on his facebook page, "Over the years I’ve had a lot of fascinating guests on the morning radio show but this lady is now my fav. Erline Christopherson loved Lake Tahoe so much she knew at the age of 8 she wanted to swim across it. At the age of 16 she finally got her wish and on July 29, 1962 swam the 21.6 mile length of Tahoe in just over 13 hours: a record that would remain for 42 years folks. Erline will be speaking tonight at the South Lake Tahoe Library at 6 PM. I’m definitely going!"
