Finding Bliss at Bliss...

After a crazy few days, basking at D.L. Bliss State Park was the idyllic way to enjoy our remaining time with Karen.

This is one of our favorite beaches. The grandeur of this setting is a product of successive upheavals of the mountain-building processes that raised the Sierra Nevada. From promontories you can see over one hundred feet into the depths of Lake Tahoe.
There is a peacefulness here in all the beauty.

Doesn't this seem the perfect send-off?
