Last week, our friend, Fern, asked for our help in prepping her home for the inevitable snow.

| A few decades ago, Fern learned that a 'snow tunnel' was the only guarantee she could leave her home after a big storm. This is where we came in with large pieces of plywood, a drill and some elbow grease. |

| Our reward, for our hard work, was a delicious lunch of Fern's award winning, bean-less chili. |

| Okay, so we didn't help just for the chili... Fern is a good friend and it is always fun to spend time with her. Oh, and the chili really was out-of-this-world delicious! |
