Tahoe Mountain News, is our South Lake Tahoe source of the information you need/want to know.  Taylor Flynn has been publishing it since 1994.  He's a busy guy and can't possibly attend all the "happenings" in town so when I told him we went to the Freaker's Ball, he asked if he could publish my photos!
