Being able to do, two of my favorite things with a family of really fun friends, makes a Saturday truly awesome!

I had not seen this type of large formation before.  A conk is a fibrous but sometimes fleshy fruiting body of a wood-rotting fungus that has a definite form and structure.  It was interesting and gross, all at the same time.  What a discovery!

Delicious homemade chili, wine and my favorite game.  Life is sweet!
