Before migrating south, we arranged a meet up at Fezziwig's Brewing in Carlsbad. Dan, the owner, is our daughter-in-law, Christy's brother, and in her honor, because of her intense love of dogs with no legs, he arranged a Corgi Day to coincide with our fête.

You can tell by the expressions on both of these faces, everyone was happy! (Thanks to Karen for the darling corgi photos). |
|
At one point there were probably, at least, 40 corgis, of every variety, in the brewery. It was canine chaos but contented chaos. |

Julie and I have been friends since 1980. She made the trek from Fullerton to enjoy the gathering. |

Dale and Barbie are Cal Poly Mustang parents with us and we bonded over our very first Parents' Weekend in SLO (2009). |

Laura and Brenton have been friends since 7th grade. There were a number of reunions happening over some pints! |
|
Our group of 20 came from all over (the farthest being Washington State). It was a great way to reconnect. |
