Before migrating south, we arranged a meet up at Fezziwig's Brewing in Carlsbad.  Dan, the owner, is our daughter-in-law, Christy's brother, and in her honor, because of her intense love of dogs with no legs, he arranged a Corgi Day to coincide with our fête.

You can tell by the expressions on both of these faces, everyone was happy!  (Thanks to Karen for the darling corgi photos).

At one point there were probably, at least, 40 corgis, of every variety, in the brewery.  It was canine chaos but contented chaos.

Julie and I have been friends since 1980.  She made the trek from Fullerton to enjoy the gathering.

Dale and Barbie are Cal Poly Mustang parents with us and we bonded over our very first Parents' Weekend in SLO (2009).

Laura and Brenton have been friends since 7th grade.  There were a number of reunions happening over some pints!

Our group of 20 came from all over (the farthest being Washington State).  It was a great way to reconnect.
