Our Full, Fabulous Tahoe Day

We awoke to a 20° morning and a lovely pink hue illuminating the snow surrounding us. I had to go out and get a closer look.

I love sunrises!

We slept well in campsite 165 but as soon as it warmed up, we were off and running.
Someone who is not off and running was the owner of this car. We parked across the street from it. Wow, not good!
We headed to Heavenly Village. We delight in playing tourist in our own town and this place is pretty fun.

Neighbor/friend, Linda, joined us for a lunch on the patio of Base Camp Pizza Co.
While I wasn't in the mood for pizza, the Hummus, feta, and olive plate really hit the spot.
After fueling up, we said our goodbyes and met Jan and Chris at Rabe Meadow.
Great views, exceptional company, and delightful conversation, it was the perfect afternoon.

"Nothing makes the earth seem so spacious
as to have friends at a distance;
they make the latitudes and longitudes."
-Henry David Thoreau.
