Placerville with Cyndi...

Since my calendar had been cleared due to the prediction of intense smoke in the Lake Tahoe basin, I offered to keep my friend company for her trek to the County offices to submit paperwork (a chore she dreaded doing alone).

Lunch at Sweetie Pie's was followed by some very fun thrift store shopping.
Our final destination was Apple Hill for peaches at Boa Vista Orchards.
Boa Vista has been here since 1915 and still owned by the Visman family who started out as potato farmers. While their apples are what they are famous for, off season it's the peaches. What a treat and what a perfect end of a pretty perfect day.

Love Boa Vista! Mom and I are camping at fallen leaf today until Wednesday morning. We are in Tahoe until Friday if you are feeling like a visit. Cheers!
