First Snow of 2019...
Since we've been gone quite a bit this winter, this is actually our first snow. It was beautiful.
We opted for the one upfront payment for the season which included installation of snow stakes, which prevent damage to property and mark the driveway. For our investment, our property will be cleared once a day when snow depth is four inches or more. One pass will be guaranteed every twenty four hours. After large storms a clean-up pass will be done to clear berms and compacted snow. Today was our first witnessing of this service and we are definitely stress free.
In addition, we finally got a snow plow driver that knows what he's doing. During the last two winters, I would get bermed in, once having my car trapped for a week and a half. Yikes.
I know, for most, this doesn't sound blog worthy, but you don't know how great it feels to sit by the fire, sipping tea as the snow falls, and not have to think about the snowblower. I am happy indeed.
"Snow was falling,
so much like stars
filling the dark trees
that one could easily imagine
its reason for being was nothing more
than prettiness.”

Snowfall looks so beautiful and the best option for fun. But there are problems when it blocked the roads and highway.
