Wanting to experience some outside time before the predicted big storm comes, we headed to Echo Lake (elevation 7539').

My younger son's mother-in-law comes up every winter to snowshoe and we wanted to take her somewhere special.







This was the first time we've ever seen ice fishermen on the middle of the lake. Brave souls.
And this was the view from our lunch spot. Tahoe continues to delight. We're set to do this day all over again with a group of friends. Let the merriment continue!
