Alabama Hills Part 2

Heading home, this place was the perfect location to spend a night, while breaking up the 500+ mile drive.

We arrived in time for dinner and the night sky to arrive.
At 1:30 AM, thanks to Jenny's moonrise knowledge, we awoke to see the star-filled sky. While this isn't my photo and not quite as breathtakingly awesome as it truly was, it gives a hint at the magnitude of stars. We have never seen so many. WOW.
Morning came with a sweet peacefulness.

I even fit in a flower hunt. Check out this miniature next to a penny. Beauty is everywhere if you look hard enough for it.

We then headed back to our other favorite place to camp... Lake Tahoe.

I love the 395. I love the valley. And I love the Albahama Hills. So close to home but a world away.
Your star picture is spectacular.
I need to get out there again!
