Erline has been mentioned on this blog a few times. I was so happy to hear that Tahoe was on her current travel itinerary.

Our first stop was a visit with Diane at the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum.
The archive room is where I found a box of Erline's memorabilia which started our relationship several years ago.
All of the artifacts from Erline's historical 1962 swim, across the length of Lake Tahoe, has been scanned and were wonderful to see on the 'big screen'.

We then had to put our feet in the icy lake water. It has become our tradition!

Note the spectacular rainbow that was the reward for a blustery day.

We ended our day together with Jan, Chris, Erline and family at our cabin for a cozy lunch. It was a fabulous reunion of reconnecting, reminiscing and planning for the next get together.
