Emerald Bay with Gene & Joanne...

It had been a few years since our neighbors had been down to the shore of this special place. Since we were volunteering that day, they joined us.


We loved the nature show that was presented to us.

Joanne's first visit to this magical place was on their honeymoon in the early 1950s. Gene's first visit was as an infant 80+ years ago. What a treat to be there with them to share in their memories (and have an excellent picnic lunch).
This unique spot on Lake Tahoe is really one of our "happy spots" made even happier when shared with friends.
