"Six Days in Siberia" Author Speaks...

As the volunteer coordinator for our Friends of the Library, I have the opportunity to meet a great deal of interesting people.  Bill Morgan was one such individual.

This local author (pen name Wade Morgan) spent the evening discussing his intriguing book, Six Days in Siberia, a suspense thriller with overtones of a spy novel. He has over 50 years of experience as a soldier, civil engineer, forest ranger, director of an environmental regulatory agency, management consultant and technical writer.  In addition, Mr. Morgan has been to Siberia three times, including an assignment where he conducted a seminar on conflict resolution.  The man knows his stuff.

When I asked if the characters were people he met while there, he gave me the typical answer, "All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental."

It was a very fun gathering of friends, bibliophiles and a couple of Russians.  A very interesting evening indeed.
