Oktoberfest for Steve's #50...
We spent the day celebrating Steve at Camp Richardson's Oktoberfest. A highlight has to be when our neighbor, Heidi, told the talented Gruber Family Band that it was his birthday and the entire audience sang to him.
It was a day of all things Oktoberfest: delicious bratwurst; dancing to choreographed German tunes; me being whisked around during a very energetic Polka; and coming in third in a beer stein holding contest (harder than it looks). It wouldn't be an event without Steve being posed with ladies so needless-to-say he enjoyed his birthday greetings by the Jägermeister damen.
I think his next decade has begun in style. Was für ein wunderbarer Weg, um einen Samstag zu verbringen. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday!
