Meeting with the Mayor
After a cappuccino with Gilberto, we were introduced to Mayor Daniele Benedetti. Even politics here impress me. Umbria is divided into 92 comuni, which have a rich history, having been established in the Middle Ages when they were the main places of government. What an honor to be welcomed into the City in such a way.
We then visited the Anna Mahler Project Space where a new exhibit is being set up. Tomorrow night were are going to the opening and are so excited. Tommaso Faraci and Francesco Marcolini are Spoletini artists whom we are eager to meet.
