Cindy's Final Day: Beach & Art
What a busy five days! Cindy's grand finale was spent back at Round Hill Pines Beach Resort doing what we love to do.
To get to our favorite beach spot, Steve dropped us off at Rabe Meadow Trailhead for a 2.2 mile stroll through the pines.
Cindy provided the floating apparatus.

"How beautiful it is to do nothing,
and then to rest afterward."
“Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability.”
-Sam Keen
After dinner on the porch, much needed showers, and a passegiata around the neighborhood, we decided we'd end our day being creative. It had been years since Cindy painted. Oh man, the giggles that ensued.
“What art is, in reality, is this missing link,
not the links which exist.
It's not what you see that is art;
art is the gap.”
-Marcel Duchamp
This was the perfect end to Cindy's visit. What a visit it was!"A friend may well be reckoned
the masterpiece of nature."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
