Our SoCal town opened its 42nd park and we were there to be a part of the festivities.
The Sports Ranch at Sommers Bend is a new 22-acre sports park on the northeast side of Temecula that boasts two baseball fields, two soccer fields, two basketball courts, a new playground with swings, multiple pavilion shelters with picnic tables, benches, and BBQs. It is amazing.I even had the opportunity to hobnob with Mayor Pro-Tem Zak Schwank.The developer, Woodside Homes, had representatives there to share its vision. We were impressed.And there I am, to the right of Mr. Schwank under the basketball, being a part of it all.After the ceremony, we delighted in all the day, and park, had to offer.When was the last time you were in an inflatable fun house?This was my first. What fun.
What a wonderful opportunity for us to be some of the very first to experience all Temecula's state-of-the-art Sports Ranch has to offer. It was only a 2 mile walk to get to this park, making it an easy destination worth visiting often.
