This adorable new place, Parlor Doughnuts, just opened in October. Having spied it the last time we were at the beach, we decided we must return and sample their wares. Since we needed to bring supplies to Steve's mom, we added layered doughnuts to her essentials list. What a delicious stop!
We had picked up a menu before so Steve knew exactly which pillow of decadent goodness he wanted.According to their website, "It's the layers in our doughnuts that make them so special. Our dough is layered in butter, making it flaky and sweet. Beyond our amazing dough, we work hard to offer an incredible selection of over 20 flavors. For this reason we believe you will leave our shop saying, This is the best doughnut I have ever had."And it is extremely adorable inside.I had the Turtle Cheesecake and Steve chose the Chocolate Chocolate. His mom was the lucky recipient of one of each!After rapidly devouring our exceptional doughnuts, we spent the entire rest of the day wondering when we could return for round two and I am not even a doughnut kind of gal. They were so right... It was the best doughnut I have ever had! Oh my goodness!

We haven’t had those flavors yet, but we do love Parlor Donuts! The best and worst thing about their pricing plan is the more you buy the more you save. ;) It’s a very dangerous place to visit. It only takes one visit to be hooked.
