Cadenza String Orchestra's CANTABILE!

We attended our first performance of this amazing school of music in September and when we found out they would be playing again, we knew we had to attend. There are few better ways to spend a winter's afternoon.

In music, cantabile, an Italian word, means literally "singable" or "songlike". In instrumental music, it is a particular style of playing designed to imitate the human voice.
Songs varied from Ave Maria, to God Bless America to Pucchini's Nessun Dorma. Bellissimi!
The music was so powerful it evoked emotion from us, at times we were almost teary-eyed.
We both agreed, while every performer was exceptional, our favorite (if we had to pick one) was the violin magic of Bradley Bascon, a local boy attending USC's Thornton School of Music. Bravo Bradley!

wings to the mind, flight to the imagination
and life to everything.”
