Oceanside Harbor Parade of Lights...

We really didn't know where we would camp tonight so how fortuitous that Eric and Brady included us in their family get together.

Ten of us dined deliciously and delighted in one another's company before strolling to Oceanside Harbor for its annual Parade of Lights, a fun spectacle with boats of all shapes and sizes decorated in their finest holiday attire, including lights, ornaments and lots of holiday trimmings.

This was our view as we walked- a local resort that goes all out with its festiveness.
Eric and Brady got us the best seat in the house!

In addition many of the captains and boat crews dress up in their holiday best, with a few jolly Santas joining to take part in the festive parade celebration. Our favorite Santa was in a decorated kayak. Too dang fun.

There was lots of singing and numerous "Merry Christmas". If one wasn't in the holiday spirit before this parade, they certainly were afterward.

Thank you to Eric and Brady for sharing their far superior images of the evening. Wow.

“Each sight, each sound of Christmas
And fragrances sublime
Make hearts and faces happy
This glorious Christmastime."

Thanks for joining us! As soon as I knew you would be in town, I thought you would make an ideal spectator. And you did. :)
I am glad it worked out!
