Johnny Cash Tribute in Lindsay...

A few years ago, we had the great pleasure to see James Garner's tribute to the Man in Black in Tahoe. We have been trying to see him again, ever since. When we discovered he was performing in a town sort of on our way south, we detoured for the night.

The concert was hosted in the very cool Lindsay Community Theatre (~c. 1933). What made it extra special was the locals who welcomed us so warmly. The concept of small town hospitality is alive and well here. The MC even gave us a shout-out for being from Tahoe. It was followed by a collective "ohhh". So dang cool.
We came prepared with our cowboy garb.

For over two hours, James rocked. He is a phenomenal storyteller as well as an exceptional singer. When attending one of his performances, you leave knowing so much more about Johnny Cash and being an even bigger fan of this Tribute band.

Best detour EVER!
