Death Valley: Flora & Fauna

Last year, Death Valley had a super bloom and we totally missed it. And while the desert appeared void of any living thing, we enjoyed the nature we did see.

Death Valley is surprisingly alive. It is home to 51 species of native mammals, 307 species of birds, 36 species of reptiles, three species of amphibians, and six species of fish. While we didn't see many of the local inhabitants, it was fun to search for them and delight in the ones we did see.

Some of my most favorite pictures are of the flowers and animals you are able to capture!
