Feeling Appreciated...
With my Ranger Denise volunteering over way too soon, due to a drastic lack of snow, it was wonderful to meet up with the USFS team to celebrate at the annual Appreciation Dinner.
Snow pack was at 3% this year which made many of the 5th grade classes have to cancel. That said, 321 students participated in this fun snowshoeing education program.
I had the most hours, in Winter Trek, which is always a surprise and a delight.
Here's to next year! Let's hope for massive snow and lots of opportunities to share Tahoe at 9,000 feet.
