We're due to have a winter wonderland for a couple of days. "Snowcoming" parties are being thrown all over the Lake. It is a joyous feeling here.
The
first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event.
You go
to bed in one kind of world
and wake up in another quite different,
and
if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?

I love the J B Priestly quote! Sometimes I lay in bed watching the snow fall and can't go to sleep because I'm so excited about waking up to a winter wonderland.
