Our Incredible Snowshoeing Adventure...
Our friends, Bob and Jenny, are experienced snowshoers, and the perfect companions for our first foray into the powdery unknown. Hiking lakeside and through the historic Tallac site was dream-like. We experienced such wonders: deep, fresh, fluffy snow; stunning sun-drenched scenery; bald eagle spotting; snow angel making; and great company! It really can't get much better than this.
At the end of our wintery excursion, we dined at The Beacon while watching the sun set and the full moon rise over the Lake... truly enchanting. Dinner was delicious and special, since we were celebrating Jenny's birthday, as well. AND we live here. Pinch me moments abound.

Well, I made a comment and I don't see it, so will do it again. Hope it doesn't post twice.
You forgot the dog that wouldn't let go of the bouy in the water and had to be rescued, ha ha.
We really enjoyed taking you snow shoeing and look forward to many more.
Your new friends

I get those "Pinch me moments" too, almost daily here in Tahoe. Loved that we could snowshoe in the fresh powdery soft snow with you. Thank you for sneaking in the birthday candle and making my day so special!
