Sunday: Friend Fun Day

We had two wonderful connections with friends today. One was completely spontaneous and the other had been planned for weeks. Both made us so very happy!

I received a text at 10:28 AM from Jenny on her way to Anza Borrego. It read, "We just realized one option is to go through Temecula on our way... the other is through Palm Springs. Are you home?" The answer was, "Yes, COME!" So we had a wonderful opportunity to catch up with Bob and Jenny on our porch. It had been far too long and the visit was far too short but I'll take it!
Mark and Carol have been in our lives for almost 20 years. We live only miles a part but it seems like rendezvousing is getting more and more difficult as we all are so busy. This afternoon's gathering was just what we needed. What a fun day!
