Scenic Byway 12...

We were excited to traverse the All-American Road. Nestled between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Scenic Byway 12 is located in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

We crossed a snow covered mountain whose summit was 9,600 ft. Wow.

This was an interesting park to pass through. The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (GSENM) is among the most remote land in the country. It was the last to be mapped in the contiguous United States. Wildly beautiful.

After admiring the unique topography, we can totally understand its nickname Highway 12 — A Journey Through Time Scenic Byway.
Utah continues to surprise and delight.
