When our friend, Linda planned her birthday party she wanted people to come dressed up. You only turn 70 once! I think we did pretty good with our attire.

 Linda is the coolest 70 year old birthday girl... ever!

The neighbors posed prom style: Casey and Linda, Steve and Cyndi, me and Steve... so dang fun.
Casey and Linda began the celebrating at our house in late October. We just continued it in Tahoe two weeks later.



The photo booth was a huge hit. What fun.
Here is the birthday girl and her daughter, Lisa (the owner of the perfect cabin for such an event).

Dinner a was sumptuous paella prepared expertly by Linda's son-in-law, Jeff. Oh man... deliciousness in a huge pan.

It took more than two cakes to make the party as festive as necessary and they were yummy.

This exceptional fête was hosted by Linda's exceptional daughters, Denise and Lisa. What a fabulous, unforgettable event.
And the night would not have been complete without dancing with Marky Mark (Mr. Wahlberg). What a riot!
