We were invited to join in the tradition of the Cal Poly Pre-Graduation Celebratory Pub Crawl. Okay, this was a total first for us. What surprised me the most was the numbers of families that were out with us.

| People filled the streets as the sun was rising. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, brothers and sisters were all there to celebrate. Few people remember exactly when San Luis Obispo’s bars began opening at
6 a.m. for graduation, though the tradition is at least 20 years old. |

| Every bar was open and very welcoming. |

| The camaraderie was infectious and it was electric in this small college town. |

| Naps were part of the planned itinerary. Next stop, GRADUATION. |

What a way to start the morning! And what do you choose to drink so early? A stout? I would have gone with a bloody mary! :)
I have never done a pub crawl. But I guess it isn't too late!
