I am a movie person so today's "double feature" was really fun for me.

There is a very active movie going group here in Tahoe, and today was the first day I could join in the cinematic excitement.  What's really great is afterward, we coffeed and discussed. Silver Linings Playbook was a tad difficult to watch.  Highly rated by critics, this love story about severe setbacks and being bipolar was well acted and enjoyed, even though it was a very difficult tale.  One of the ladies shared with us, based on her first marriage, that the mental illness was portrayed very accurately.  It's worth seeing, just don't expect a lot of "happy" throughout.

We rented Seeking a Friend... from Redbox based on a recommendation.  I don't even remember this being in the movie theaters, but I highly encourage anyone to watch this film. It is one of hope, forgiveness and reality.  "Set in a too-near future, the movie explores what people will do when humanity's last days are at hand. As the respective journeys of Dodge (Mr. Carell) and Penny (Ms. Knightley) converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks - if not the world's - brighten."
