Einstein & Me...

I found this interesting and encouraging, "In April 18, 1955, while most press gathered at the hospital where Albert Einstein died, Life magazine photographer Ralph Morse went to his office and photographed his desk, which was left exactly as he had last used it. Morse bribed the superintendent with scotch to gain access and capture iconic images of the cluttered workspace. The images show the desk with papers, journals, and his pipe, while a blackboard behind it contains complex equations."

While I am certainly NO EINSTEIN, I took comfort in knowing we had our desks in common (sans the complex equations).
Dr. Einstein's famous quote about messy desks challenges the idea that neatness equals intelligence, suggesting instead that a cluttered desk might signify an active, creative mind, asking, "If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?" Great question! I'm feeling better about myself already.
