I LOVE Coffee. The French Get It!

For me, coffee is a verb. I love to coffee. Coffeeing with friends is one of my favorite pastimes.

After coffee at home, our daily routine in France has been to venture forth but always with a pause, somewhere scenic, for one last morning cup.
The day begins for many French with a café au lait, an espresso served with lots of warm milk in a large bowl-like mug, accompanied by a slice of jam-topped baguette or a croissant (sometimes dunked in the coffee before biting). Like the Italians, the French also tend to enjoy their coffee without milk after midday.

If coffee was a religion this would be its church- the Boutique Nespresso.
The Nespresso (Nestlé + espresso) story began almost 40 years ago with a simple idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of espresso coffee – just like a skilled barista. From its beginning in 1986, Nespresso has redefined and revolutionized the way millions of people enjoy their espresso coffee and shaped the global coffee culture.
Building on the earlier work of Luiggi Bezzera, who first invented the espresso machine in the early 1900s, a new system was developed that would allow anybody to craft, and enjoy, a perfect Italian espresso: the world’s first portioned coffee system. This Swiss company has totally perfected it!

Look at the selection being offered.

What fun that the store offers espressos to sample.

the point of departure and return—
the moment before, anticipated, extended,
improvised, framed, casual or formal,
serious or serendipitous…"
