Cars & Coffee

How could we resist this invitation? "Join us for Temecula Valley Cars and Coffee, presented by Temecula Valley Toyota and Temecula Valley Lexus! Bring what you drive. We'd love to see you!"

This is just a very chill way to start a Sunday and what a collection of rides.
This Lincoln Zephyr might have been my favorite. So vintage and so very cool.

If I could have, I would have driven my boys around in this station wagon. Wow.

When was the last time you saw a Ford Pinto? The back sticker reads "Danger: Explosives". Remember this popular car that turned out to be a deadly ride if rear-ended? In 1970, Ford decided to move ahead with production of their new Pinto, even though their engineering crash tests showed it had a flawed design that would cause the gas tank to explode if the car was hit from behind. By 1978, 1.5 million Pintos were recalled, with Ralph Nader being the consumer's watch dog. The sticker is rather macabre.

The most fun collection on display was a series of brand new Corvettes. What a blast to see the owners sitting around, drinking coffee, watching the oglers (Steve being one of them).

My older son would own this car in a heartbeat! I can't even imagine the amount of money in this ride.
And who paints their car to look like an Arizona Tea can? Wild indeed.
Yes, this was a very chill way to start any day.
