More Memories of Our Month in Tahoe...
Below is a series of images taken over the last few weeks of our far too brief visit to Lake Tahoe. It has been an amazing month of family, friendship, and fun. And as we prepare to migrate south in a few days, I thought I'd let the photos of miscellaneous memories fill in the blog's blanks.
We attended only one Live at Lakeview but it was as amazing as always. Both sons and their families make the trek to the Sierra. I was an incredibly fortunate Mom/Mother-in-law/Grandma.
There was lots of porch sitting (and sleeping).
We even made it to Round Hill Pines Resort for a day of all things LAKE.
The day included a generous paddle board borrow.
And an awesome Pirate sighting.
What fun to share the magicalness of a Concert on the Lawn at Valhalla.
And oh man, the friends we connected with. Gene and Joanne are our neighbors and exceptional individuals who always make a point of spending time with us when we're all anywhere near one another.
Coffee and catching up with Cyndi happened a few times (once I even got a haircut out of it).
Sharon and I were two ships who almost passed in the night but we were able to fit in a delightful lunch before she left town.
More coffee with more amazing women (Mary Jo and Karen). I am so very fortunate with my friendships.

Home that our feet may leave,
but not our hearts..."
