Our New Favorite Coffee Spot

As I have mentioned before, Oceanside is a crossroad in most of our travels. Its treasures are numerous. Today we discovered yet another gem- Mission Grounds Coffee Shop.

Its location is very cool. It is on the grounds (sweet pun) of Mission San Luis Rey de Francia is surrounded by the present-day city of Oceanside. Founded on June 13, 1798 by Padre Fermín Lasuén, it was the eighteenth of the Spanish missions established in California.
Located right next to the Friars' residences, is this very darling café. We have passed it many times but today was our first foray into its wonderfulness.
With an inviting décor and welcoming staff, we were sorry it took us so long to get there. We are so glad we finally did and will definitely return often.

The items on offer were surprisingly good and very affordable.
And the setting could not have been more spectacular. This is definitely an Oceanside treasure uncovered.
