A Return to the Sugarplum Zoo...

Located just a few miles from us in Wine Country, Sugarplum Farm & Zoo is a unique way to spend a morning.

We came, ultimately, to feed and love on the llama.

It is always such a surprise to find a Camel lounging about in Wine Country.

Though the biggest surprise is a zebra. Man, I love a zebra!

I love the expression on this little guy's face!

Socrates, the Prairie Dog, was a true delight to watch.

This turkey surprised and impressed.

A Toucan perhaps? Whatever it was, the variety of birds are amazing.

The tortoise was a new addition and watching him dine was comical and mesmerizing, too.

When we were leaving, a group of homeschoolers arrived. It was wonderful to see the delight on all the children's faces and to hear their giggles.
