Bagpipe Concert on the Library Lawn

As part of our Friends of the Library programming for summer, we scheduled Seán Cummings, the Tahoe Bagpipermonths ago. The anticipation was worth it all.

My friend, Laura, came up from Minden just for this event. Nothing screams summer like musical fun on the library lawn.
What I love about Séan's show is how he explains everything from the way the bagpipe works and the significance of his ensemble to the history of bagpiping and why the specific songs were written. So very cool.
Friends and family gathered under the pines. What fun.
