Opera Season in Spoleto...

All the senses can be experienced when one strolls the streets of Spoleto.  Currently, our sense of hearing is on heightened awareness for it's Opera Season and one of the performers lives in the apartment adjacent to ours (photo).  His beautiful voice fills our apartment and provides us with a glimpse of how wonderful the upcoming performances will be.

Seeing the poster, advertising the 65th season of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto, does little to encourage one to go to the Opera.  "Stop It", by Esther Gross, seems inappropriate in almost a comical way.

I don't know if we will get to the theater, especially since we are getting serenaded for free, yet it is wonderful to see that the music hasn't stopped in Spoleto!

Opera!! I experienced 14 hours over 4 different days of Wagner's "The Ring". You know, "Flight of the Valkeri", which is the only piece I knew from the 14 hours I endured in German. I think the poster is perfect!!!

Every type of art flows freely from Spoleto. You guys picked the perfect spot for your year abroad. Great job Steve!
