"Jaws" at Lake Tahoe
A new movie is set to be filmed in the Reno-Tahoe area this fall. The film is called "The Lake." It is about freshwater sharks in Lake Tahoe and will feature action star Dolph Lundgren.
The President of Reno-Sparks Visitors Authority said, "The announcement is very exciting for our area, because Reno-Tahoe will not just be a backdrop for the action film, but will be part of the story. It also is a calling card for our region because we look great on film and when these films get out there and they are shown worldwide, people who have never been here before say wow where did they shoot that thing, and they watch the credits and think maybe I need to go there for my next vacation."
Hmm, sharks in the Lake? I freaked out about the Monster gold fish. We'll see what it does for tourism. Yikes.

You will be thrilled more because as what I read here http://www.exploretalent.com/articles/casting-call-feature-film-shark-lake/ casting directors are looking for actors, models and other talents to audition for various speaking roles for this new feature film. Filming begins on the 21st of January and ends in mid to late February. I'm sure the locals are so excited to be part on this film and work with the best director and actors.
